Welcome Whether you are new to the club, or just new to club events, you are in the right place. Do you see all the events listed and want to do something... but you just aren't sure what? Well, allow me to give you a quick overview of our events: Autocross: Also known as "Parking Lot Racing." This is where a course is laid out with cones in a large parking lot, like Nassau Coliseum, and we race against the clock for the fastest single lap time. A lot of fun without having to go far, and can be done with zero modifications to the car. Concours: This is where we get our cars as clean as humanly possible and have them judged in a beautiful setting like Old Westbury Gardens. This is a very social day as well... a lot of people and a lot of beautiful cars. DE: This is the biggie... Driver Education is our program of track events. We go to race tracks and learn how to get the most performance out of our cars... and ourselves. We have instructors that go out on the track with you and teach you how to drive your car on a race track. My personal favorite!! Rally: This is where we start out at a checkpoint and are given directions based on landmarks that we follow to an endpoint. A lot of fun, and it usually ends in a picnic, or clam bake. A great family event. Trek: This is where we all meet up in the morning. then all drive up together to a lunch destination. It's usually a scenic route on some beautiful roads leading to a great lunch. Social Events: These are our events that don't have as much to do with the cars. People events! These consist of our Holiday Party, New Member Meeting, Election Meeting... and a possible picnic or Octoberfest gathering.
