Tobay Beach (Town of Oyster Bay): (with trailer) Tobay beach is located 4.2 miles East of the Jones Beach Water Tower on the North side of Ocean Parkway Take Rte. 135 South to Exit 1W. This will put you on Merrick Road (West). Take Merrick Road West about 1 mile to the Wantagh Parkway (South). Take the Wantagh Parkway South to the traffic circle. Just before the traffic circle is an overpass. Clearance is listed by signs as 8 1/2 feet. Enter the circle at six o'clock and exit at nine o'clock. This puts you on the Ocean Parkway (East). Tobay will be 4.2 miles east on the Ocean Parkway. You must use the exit from the left side of the parkway to double back to Tobay. Tobay Beach (Town of Oyster Bay): (without trailer) Tobay beach is located 4.2 miles East of the Jones Beach Water Tower on the North side of Ocean Parkway. From Western Long Island, the Meadowbrook Parkway (South) or the Wantagh Parkway (South) lead into Ocean Parkway. Once on Ocean Parkway continue East towards Jones Beach. Continue approximately 4.2 miles East of Jones Beach Water Tower. From Eastern Long Island, take either the Southern State Parkway or the Sagtikos Parkway to The Robert Moses Causeway. The R.M.C. runs into Ocean Parkway. Take Ocean Parkway West, towards Jones Beach. Tobay Beach is on your right (North side) as soon as you cross over into Nassau County. BE ALERT, there is no sign for Tobay going West on Ocean Parkway. The Robert Plan - Bethpage: (with trailer) L.I.E. to Seaford Oyster Bay Exp. (135) South. Exit 9 (Broadway), at end of ramp make right. Bear right at fork in the road (comes quickly) on Cherry Ave. At the next fight (Stewart Ave.) proceed straight across and behind the Robert Plan building. The Robert Plan - Bethpage: (without trailer) From Western/Northern Shore Long Island and NYC. L.I.E. to Seaford Oyster Bay Exp. (135) South. Exit 9 (Broadway), at end of ramp make right. Bear right at fork in the road (comes quickly) on Cherry Ave. At the next fight (Stewart Ave.) proceed straight across and behind the Robert Plan building. OR N. S.Pky. heading East to Exit 3 6A, Seaford Oyster Bay Exp. (I 3 5) South. Exit 9 (Broadway) then same as above. From Eastern Long Island N.S. Pky heading West- Exit 37A to L.I.E. Westbound to Exit 44S (comes quick) Seaford Oyster Bay Exp. South to Exit 9 (Broadway) then same as above. Southern State Pky. (Exit 28A), Sunrise Hwy, or Merrick Rd.- Go North on Seaford Oyster Bay Exp.(l 3 5) to Exit 9 Plain view Rd. Turn left at end of exit ramp on Broadway. Bear right at fork in road (comes quickly) on Cherry Ave. At the next light (Stewart Ave.) proceed straight across and behind the Robert Plan building. Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Uniondale: (with trailer) Long Island Expressway (495) to exit 39 South (Glen Cove Road) which becomes Clinton Avenue. Proceed for 4 miles. Turn left onto Hempstead Turnpike/Fulton Avenue ( Route 24). Go 1 mile and pass under Hofstra University walkway over Hempstead Turnpike. Go 3 lights and make a left. Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Uniondale: (without trailer) L.I.E.- Heading East- Exit 3 8 puts you on N. S. Pky. for I mile to Exit 3 1 A, Meadowbrook Pky. South. Right at Exit M4 to the Coliseum. L.I.E.- Heading West- Exit 39South. Take Glen Cove Rd. to Meadowbrook Pky. South ( Jones Beach). Right at Exit M4 to the Coliseum Southern State Pky. to exit 22 North, Meadowbrook Pky. to Exit M4 (Route 24W to the Coliseum. |
